She has led the client service and marketing practices and departments of law firms as diverse as Cooley Godward; Nossaman, Guthner, Knox & Elliott; and Hopkins & Carley. Those experiences gave her first-hand insight into the challenges of building and directing law firm marketing and client-development initiatives and provided her with a deep understanding of marketing best practices that offer real bottom-line results.
Mozhgan's extensive consulting practice in strategic planning includes working with chairmen, managing partners, and office and practice group leaders to identify hot growth areas, both substantive and geographic. In addition, her expertise includes conducting in-person client service interviews, coaching attorneys in business-development skills, working with attorney client teams and individuals to plan and implement marketing initiatives, developing proposals for prospective and current clients, and overseeing and orchestrating media relations, advertising and other visibility programs.
Mozhgan received a B.S. degree in information systems management from the University of San Francisco. She was a founding member of the Bay Area Chapter of the Law Firm Marketing Association (LMA) and served as its president in 1994. In 2001 she was honored with the Rella Lossey Professional Achievement Award for her career-long contributions to the practice of law firm marketing. Mozhgan is a frequent lecturer and author for legal and business publications.
